Hair loss is a problem that can affect anyone - and sometimes at any age - depending on the nature of the condition that causes the hair loss.

So common has the problem become that the number of qualified trichologists in the United Kingdom has increased by 20 per cent over the last two years.

The problem of hair loss is something that can not only affect how individuals look but how they feel as well and the rise in the number of trichologists is due not only to an increase in the number of cases of hair loss being reported but also by the rise in the number of people wanting to take steps to either prevent hair loss or compensate for it.

The number of individuals in the United Kingdom who have now taken to wearing artificial hair pieces as a means of disguising their hair loss has also dramatically risen in the last two years as to has the number of practising trichologists who have turned to specialising in the consultation and provision of such hair pieces.

Also the amount of money we spend annually on ways to prevent hair loss has risen by a staggering 46 per cent.
